Believe it or not, i am still not well. Read Here.
Technically, i am okay from the flu and throat infection but i developed coughing the next day and when my coughing is better, i got headaches.
Today, i am dizzy! I can't move around much or i will feel like vomiting. Actually, i wish i could vomit because i usually feel better after vomiting. I ate a couple panadols but not working much.
What sucks is that i have a concert to go to later tonight and i really wish i could get better so i can fully enjoy it. Those who can guess which concert, hush hush ok?? hehehe Will blog about it the next day.
Wish me well people!! i rather cough than being dizzy!!

Sure, she is a mean and big headed; not to mention thinks everyone is puny and worthless when not obeying her deeds and we have ONE thing in common.
She has a huge ass temper. Of course I don’t go around shouting “OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!!” although I wish I could. Anything that does not go according to her evil plans or just because someone annoys her; all hell will break loose.
I found out that he’s the only one capable of pacifying her and calming her dramatic mood swings just like my Jhon who could get my mood swings under control and also listens to the Queen.
Sure she probably be perished or banish in the end but all GOOD things must come in the end right? *grins*

Sick as a Dog

When i get sick, i get really sick.
I started to have sore throat on Sunday and tried to drown myself with lots of fluids but obviously it didn't work. I woke up for work the next day feeling unwell but being the stubborn sick kid i am, i try to brush it off and get ready.
Even after a shower, i was still feeling unwell and after much convincing from Jhon, i decided to go to the doctor. I went about 9.30am and when i left the clinic, i had 5 types of pills and 1 day medical leave. Apparently, the doctor thought if he could stuff me with all kinds of flu medicines, i would get better in less than 24 hours.
Guess what? it didn't work. I vomited that night and the morning after while i was heading out to work. Yes, i still wanted to go to work even though i was clearly still unwell. So i did a U-turn and went back home and went to see the doctor yet again.
This time, i brought home anti-vomit pills and 2 days medical leaves;3 medical leaves in total. I told ya i was sick...
I slept most of the afternoon and yesterday i woke up with my aches on jaw and cheek bones. I have no idea how i got that although the night before i purposely didn't take my running nose pills so see how i slept.
I slapped myself in the face... TWICE. that might explain a few things. I also had night terrors after that about jumping leeches and i was shouting in my sleep till my mom has to wake me up. I don't think night terrors are normal for an adult. I had them since i was very young.
Anyways, I am starting work tomorrow. Feeling better but just don't expect me doing jumping jacks.
I hate being sick. urgh

Every Man's Garbage is Another Man's Treasure...

About 2 weeks ago, my mom found 2 small wooden chairs in perfect condition thrown away below our block. She just couldn't resist so she picked and clean them up so my nephew, Shibly could use it.
The raw color
I don't know why would anyone would throw it though since its still in a great condition. When Jhon and I saw it, we decided to give it a paint job to make it livelier.
And today is the day.
(ok, it just passed 12am as i typed the sentence so "today" is actually 20th Feb *grins)
We asked Shibly the other day, what color does he wants for the chairs and he said "Yellow"
So yellow it shall be, Mr Shibly Sir!
Mr Jhon at work
I helped with the base coat. tee hee!
While waiting for it to dry, we had Macaroni Soup with a twist! its the Ribbon Pasta thingy! Damn its delicious!
After a few hours, back to work.
50% done.
And Voila! I took this a few hours after we are done that's why its dark by then.
We moved the chairs into my house to continue to dry because we are worried that someone might take away the chairs. haha
Oh yeah! we also had awesome homemade ham sandwich!
In a way Shibly would say it, "Yummm yummmmmmmm!"
I planned to finish my Meccano plane today but i was so caught up with the food and painting that i totally forgot about it. Oh well, there is always tomorrow. *winks*

I finally bought a 1:18 die cast car for Jhon since I lost to a lame bet. We went to my favorite shop, Nikko at Millenia Walk. I will tell you why it is my favorite later. *grins*
Anyways, Jhon chose to get a Limited Edition 1969 Chevrolet Corvette. I gotta say... wow!
It even comes with an authenticity certificate.
I really like the rims
ok, why is Nikko is my favorite shop? It is not only because of the cool cars they have, they also have Meccano design set! It is my newly found craze at the moment. I have been always been crazy about Mechanical Art and i am starting small with Meccano. I have 5 small (103 pieces) designs so far and i am adding one more.
Unfortunately, due to my excitement and exhaustion, i broke one of the parts while building it. I was so upset but i decided to continue to complete it irregardless.
At this view, it looks pretty ok.
But you can see the problem here.
Jhon being the sweet guy he is, the next morning, he LIED to me by saying he going to do his laundry but actually, secretly went to buy me another Meccano design that i was checking out the day before to cheer me up. 1000 points for actually giving me an actual surprise because he usually gave it away too soon.
Another 1000 points for buying me the awesome airplane!! i is happy. I only managed to spend a couple of hours with it but it is almost done.
AND!
With Jhon's itchy fingers, he managed to find the die cast car that he has been searching for! Ford GT. I was abit hesistant since he JUST bought a car and its not practical to get another so soon but I know he won't stop whining for it since he really wants that specific model. So we met the ebay guy who was very nice btw, checked the car out and $$$$.
Just like that.
But we are happy and satisfied. So bluek! =D

So after our lunch at Swensons at Plaza Singapura, we headed to 'The Body Show’. A Rare Inside Look At The Human Anatomy at Clark Quay.
Now, don't be mistaken by the other exhibit which is "Body Worlds & the Cycle of Life" which is held at the Science Centre.[we plan to go for this one too]
The Body Show is by the United States which showcases plasticized body for medical purposes while Body Worlds is from Germany has the same purpose but the exhibits plasticized bodies from Gunther Von Hagen himself, The creator of Plastination and he also uses these bodies as a form of art with its provocative positions. [I know abt Mr Von Hagen via Discovery Channel 4 years ago and was awed ever since]
One other difference between both exhibits is that no photography is allowed for Body Worlds, well, unless you try to sneak a snap.
I have been to Body Worlds when it first came to Singapore so I decided to check out Body Show with Jhon just for fun.
At first level, we were greeted by this naked golfer which made our heard skipped a beat but it turns out to be just a piece of cardboard. haha
The main entrance... i didn't know Jhon caught our reflection too.
When we entered, we were greeted by a real skinny dude on a bike. [bike was was sponsored by some bike company so that explained alot]
and then we met the real naked golf man, along with the naked football player guy with his ding dong sticking out.
There were many individual displays of organs/ body parts too.
The top picture is not what you think. Its your gall bladder.
Larynx on the left. See the Adam's apple?
Sliced up guy lying on the table. (cut horizontally)
So we met up with this guy who waited for us till he turned into nothing but bones.
So Jhon tried to chat up with him and console him.
but i told him "Who asked you to not to double check with us huhhh?"
yea..... lame.... i show you more pictures ok? *grins*
Hanged sliced up guy (cut vertically)
The flying man.
Playing chess.
I eksyen (action) help.
So we also got free mugs (sold at S$4+) from the exhibit because we were the first 500+ NTUC member customers. haha but i find the mug really cool. We got souvenirs!
We also signed their guestbook and see how shamelessly wrote my blogsite address. haha
actually, we kinda cheated. We wrote on the guestbook when we first entered the exhibit. hahahaha!
It was a special experience for Jhon since he is the one terrified of mannequins n blood. Mixed them together and it could spell hell. But Jhon managed to stay cool and collected especially when taking the photos and guess what? he managed to overcome most of his store mannequins because of this. Good eh?
