Mecano

At last, i finished my Mecano Design Starter. See the mini post here. Jhon bought it for me a few weeks ago and i managed to fix 60% of it till today because i totally forgot about it and have no time to settle down and work on it.

I tell ya, it was hard because there is no piece of paper to tell you which part goes to which area! You know, directions. When i took everything out, i was going.. "Oh oh.. what have got myself into?" because i was sooo confident it was easy-peasy. Its for 8-15 years old mah..

It was challenging but with Jhon's help [because i was too weak to bend the metal -_-], we managed to build my off-road bike.

I am so happy and proud of it. hahaha Its so cool! I don't care if people find it childish. Hmph! Even my mom find it cool. She wants me to buy other designs. =P

It was damn frustrating to figure out which belongs to where but its so gratifying to see it finished. Might buy more. ^_^

Crazy About FML

For those who have yet encountered FML [Fuck My Life], it’s a site where everyone posts incidents that happened to them that totally sucked. The story has to start with “Today” and ends with “FML”. Posts are moderated so only the best will be up on the site.

I knew about this place since last year when it just started where most of the posts are from Europe but FML now has been spreading like wildfire to other countries.

Ever since, I have been religiously reading FMLs almost every day because well, to be honest, it feels good that someone’s life sucks more than me. haha Plus, most of the posts are freaking hilarious!!

I’m so addicted to FML that I have it RSS fed to my work email so I am constantly updated at work and it looks like I am reading my work mail ^_^

A few months back, they started to have illustrations of FML posted. It’s hard to please though because everyone is a critic. Some find the illustrations are not relatable/exaggerated/bad. These illustrations are also posted by readers and once in a while, a known cartoonist posted one.

You got to check it out! FMLs will totally make your day knowing that someone got it bad compared to you. If you think you got it worst, well, post it up and see if everyone thinks so too.

My mom found a bird in the carpark. It was stuck somewhere and when it was released, it couldn't fly so mom brought it home. I have no idea what kind of bird this is.

Anyways, after a few days, it died. =(

***
Jhon, sis and i had dinner consists nothing but Garlic Bread and Campbell's Mushroom Soup

It has been years since i had Campbell's soup and i think it sucked over the years because it tastes funny.

But the Garlic Bread is so delicious! and my shit smells like garlic the next day. haha

Since Sentosa's Universal Studios are opening soon, Abg jamil is trying to get one of the jobs and i hope he gets it because he has been working in a dead-end job most of his life and he really needs a big break.

A Wedding, A Movie and A Bruise

Went to Hidayah's wedding today who happens to be my ex-pri-sec-ite mate so imagine how big of a reunion it was.

I look old here... why? =(

They have a caricature of themselves at the guestbook table and i asked Jhon to do the writing because he has better handwriting than me. =P i simply order lovingly tell him where and what to write.

For her first outfit, she donned the traditional Javanese costume and her second would be the Hindi costume. [i didnt stay over till late so i saw it via our people's picture]

Wedding Cupcake; still the 'in thing' for the convinience of giving it away to guests.

The obligatory picture with the bride; must have evidence we came!! =P

With the hubby

Fizah, Serina and [omg! i forgot her name]. Secondary school mates

More secondary school mates

The ever so sweet Wati with akward posing me -_-

Saw bunch of primary school mates too but didnt approach them [they also didnt approach me mah!] but i did acknowledged most of them with an enthusiastic wave.

Me with hot and cranky Jhon.

When the bride and groom was heading to the groom's side, Jhon and I left while the rest followed the couple. He was just too hot, cranky and bored at the wedding but the minute we left, he was so happy.

We went to Century Square to catch Paranormal Activity which totally sucked anyways. It was expected because a movie with so much hype and adverts, is not that great. Thats why it needs to be hyped up right? But they still got the last laugh because they made millions by now and are laughing to the bank.

But seriously, for a scardey cat like me, the movie is not THAT scary. I recommend all to just rent/borrow the DVD and fast forward to the last 10 minutes of the movie because thats the only part that is truly exciting.

After the movie, did abit of a walk-around and went to my house for a quick dinner.

While cooking, Jhon gave me a massive shock that with my awesome reflexes, shouted "OH MAK LU KULOP!", turned around and hit him in the chest in 2 seconds. His response was blocking my hit but his watch hit my wrist.

-_-

So dramatic.. and see what i got!

Even the pillow is laughing at me...

What if i was holding a knife? I could've killed him!!

Spare them a piece of a paper heart

Donations.

Just one word and everyone will conjure up all kinds of excuses like:
  • Having no money or saying that they too are poor and need money too [forgetting that they at least have a roof over their heads and complete functional body for work & pleasure]

  • They are too busy to spend hours of voluntary work and their time is precious.

  • Giving blood is so scary and afraid that they will have lesser blood than normal but little did they know that every day, new blood cells are formed in their body.
But SingTel is just asking you for a few minutes of your time to fold a piece of paper provided in Today newspaper into a heart shape origami and post it in the mailbox. You don’t even have to pay a single cent and every heart, SingTel donates $1 to under privileged youths.

It’s easy. No money involved and does not need hours of your precious time [unless you are really that stupid to not know how to fold a paper heart origami even with instructions].

$1 is a lot over a large number.

Come on, for once, don’t be selfish and no more excuses. Fold for a cause. =)

Btw, if you are feeling extra charitable, you can donate $5 either by calling/sms

Ennio Marchetto is awesome!

I have always love his work since i saw him in Just for laughs and that was ages ago and when i found out that he is doing a show here in Singapore, I GOT TO GO!!

I also managed to get Sis to tag along and she got her husband to go too. He was reluctant but can't say no to the whiny pregnant woman right? hehehehe

We came about 7pm and theres no parking space and had to park at Adelphi. It wasn't that far from Victoria Theatre so it's pretty alright.

The show was expectantly funny and it was a plus point that we had great seats! Check out his trailer!

Everyone was extra hungry after that so we headed to Geylang for dinner. While heading to our car, we kinda interrupted 2 lesbians doing their nasty things in their car which happened to be next to our car!! yucks! especially the fact that both of them are UGLY!! i think lesbians are only sexy if they are pretty. If not, its so disgusting!

While waiting for the food, i made everyone do the same pose as the Ennio postcard i got weeks ago. lol

Of course, Sis won the best picture.haha

Food Galore!!

It was a great night. I managed to tick mythings to do before i die list. haha 1,523,001 more to go!

The Wrath of zzanyy!!!!!

Nah... im just being dramatic...but see what i accidently did to this Pilot pen. hahhaa

I was busy doing my work just want to re-cap the pen and i felt something didn't feel quite right and when i checked, yup.... I have a modified pen now and i can't fix it back and there's still a lot of ink in there! oh well.

Anyways, recently went to Millenia Walk to check out Nikko; a car scale model shop. From being so cranky from walking with high heels, i became so happy as if i was in heaven because i saw the type of car that i really like!

Its vintage scale model cars and what i love the most is that its even made of tin which make it extra old-school and when i checked out the tag, its about $550! Yikes! I was soooo GEEERRRAM!

Jhon managed to get a car and he bought for me this.

Because i kept eyeing it and grinning like a school boy.

Never mind it says 8-15 years old, i love it! Its only $20 anyways and if i collect all the designs, i can get a bonus design!!

I guess i like it so much because it so old school looking when its done and i cant wait to keep it until it rusts. bwahahaha

Jhon's Birthday!

Jhon's birthday was on the 29th October and ever since i have known him, i always try my best to have him celebrate his birthday in the most special and memorable way since he is far away from home and im the only one he's got in Singapore.

This year, i am taking him to an actual Helipad thanks to my ex-sec sch mate, Budiyan. How cool is that? The Helipad at Swissotel only opens on every Thursday of the end of the month and for exclusive invites only.

But before that, we went to Swensons at Bugis to have a quick dinner.

Jhon's Spaghetti

My Beef Baked Rice

The birthday boy. See "ecstatic" he is. hahaha

Then off to Raffles while we wait for Budiyan and damn, i forgot to take picture with him. One on one reunion mah!! I don't know when will we ever meet up again. haha Anyways, met up with his mates and best fren and off we went to..

We went up and up and up to the 71st floor and i think my ears popped in the lift. =P and we climbed a few more steps to the 73rd floor to see a really nice view of Singapore's Night life.

It was windy but not cold at all and the air.... My God... the air!!! its so clean!! I love it!!

[insert anti-smoking campaign here]

The atmosphere was so romantic and it was those rare moments where i get a bit mushy with him hahaha kissy poo and hugging since everyone is busy socializing anyways.

I even asked Jhon if i can pretend to be drunk and get all slutty with him since that's what ussually happens at night clubs but he said its way too early to get "drunk".. so boring! =(

A couple of girls took a polaroid shots of us. Plastic cover included! Can insert EZ-link card! haha kidding
Picture distorted here...  because the cover was matt but i love the pic.

and here is the final picture at the lobby haha

nice huh? we later went somewhere else for a more private scene at 10pm since the helipad closes at 9.30pm and we are not drinkers anyways.

Thanks Iyan!! It meant ALOT TO US!

and Happy Birthday to my dearest love! Hope you had a memorable night. Now i have to think of another to top that next year. hhaha
