It was not only a surprise for her but also everyone's because the proposal was held at Cathay theatre while waiting for 'Couples Retreat' to start.
As some you Nuffnangers know, recently, Nuffnang held a contest for movie tickets for 'Couples Retreat'.
I was very interested especially Jhon and I was on leave that day so i duly wrote my blog and won. =D
We hung out at Plaza Singapura and was still early at The Cathay and theres one moment we saw a "camera crew" with really nicely dressed up people. They walked so fast past us that i didn't managed to see who it was.
So fast forward to collecting the tickets, saw Xiaxue and head to the theatres.
The movie started quite late and i saw Ming. I was thinking "eh? how come the boss is here? maybe he also wanna watch the movie. hehe". He went on the mic and apologized for the late start and the ads started.
The very first ad had an East Coast beach scene at night with someone sitting on the bench with random pictures about "Having met someone special".
I didn't really paid much attention till they zoomed on the person on the bench and he said "I have met my special someone, have you?" [qoutes may not be exact =p] and i went "eh? the guy looked like Mike, Xiaxue's bf"
Before we knew it, he came out from the exit with a camera crew with a hugee grin on his face and i saw the small box in his hand and all i could ever thought is "OMG OMG OMG!" haha
and he did! Mike proposed! and of course Xiaxue said yes!
Remember the nicely dressed people we saw before hand? They were actually her family and friends hidding at the back row!
It was so nice to be part of the whole athmosphere especially the fact that Xiaxue is one of my favourite bloggers. hehe
I saw her diamond ring on her blog and is FUH! gorgeous and sooo her! [pic from her blog]
I also overheard that they planned the Nuffnang movie thing just for the proposal. How sweet. =)
Anyways, they ran off for their private celebration and the movie started.
The movie is a definitely must watch. Abit lovey dovey for me but its just too hilarious for me to care. My favourite hilarious part is when the Yoga Instructor comes in.
Anyways, heads up for Xiaxue's [obviously better] version of her proposal could be anytime soon. ;)
