Trailing at the Southern Ridges Park. (Part 2)

If you missed Part one, click here.

Our fourth spot is Hill Top walk, the last time I came here was when I was in primary school. This place is also another common wedding photo shoot spot long time ago.

Fifth spot, Forest Walk which is Jhon’s favorite. It consists of almost never ending Bridge snaking around the forest.

There is also an earth trail for the more adventurous types which we plan to take next time.

Sixth, crossing the Alexandra Arch. After crossing the Henderson Waves, sadly, the arch is not much of a lookie (except at night when we pass underneath it) if you know what I mean.

Plus, by this time, its almost 12pm and it’s way too hot to dilly dally without any shelter.

Seventh are Flora Walk and HortPark. Plants, Flowers, decorated lawns and playgrounds; I don’t mind spending more time here but like I said, it is way too hot by this time and I can feel my face burning. =(

But we managed to play a maze ala Survivor Style *Cue Survivor theme song* and we solved it. hehe

We also pretended that we are planning to have our wedding at the Hort Park event  lawn. Hahaha yes, we suffered from heat exhaustion that bad.

Lastly, Canopy Walk WHICH WE TOTALLY MISSED!! We made a wrong turn somewhere and ended up walking in an ’ULU’ area towards Science Park I. It was funny but abit disappointing because technically, we didn’t actually completed the whole route. I am SOOOO going there again.

We took a bus to Buona Vista and another bus ride to Bedok, Oh yeah, we love talking long bus trips too! [Quirky couple we are]. As soon as I cooled down in the bus, I cleaned up myself with a wet towel, put on some light make up and asked Jhon to changed clothes in the bus.  Hahah

Don’t worry, its an almost empty double decker bus and we are sitting at the back. When we reached bedok, we took a quick lunch and went straight back home.

I reached home slightly red but in a good way and got a cool glowing tan the next day. Nonetheless, I still bathe applied myself with my favorite whitening lotion because tan lines are so uncool.

I can’t wait to trail Southern Ridges Park again.
