Trailing at the Southern Ridges Park.(Part 1)

Jhon and I are avid walkers. I would love to see us as the old couple walking early in the morning with one 1 step ahead waiting for the other to catch up with holding hands. Syiok.

We intend to go to Mac Ritchie with Fizah like we always do every year but Fizah couldn’t make it for reasons only she can understand, besides that she had a reflexology appointment in the evening. [ the other one is cannot go because it rained the day before – it’s not a monsoon,  plus, who wouldn’t want a foot massage after a loooong walk? so Jhon and I just don’t get it haha]

So, I told Jhon, we just go to the Southern Ridges which is a park connector from Marang Road (near Vivo) to Kent Ridge Park. The place that I have wanted to go ever since it opened.

Us at 8am and me with my almost 'naked' face; not very flattering but oh well.

First stop, Marang Walk. The place is known for wedding photos because of its serene and natural scene.

This trail is the most difficult because of the many steps to climb and they say its equivalent to climbing a 24 storey building.

Second, Faber Walk, after the climb, you will be welcomed by a nice view from the top and it is also a location where Jewel Box is located where you can dine and  ride Cable cars to Sentosa. But nope, not for us, we are here with a mission so we moved along.

This area has the most spiders and they are HUMONGOUS!

Too bad we can’t get good shots because one, we don’t have a nice zoom lens and two; we are too scared to get too close. Haha
[I also got freaked out a HAIRY caterpillar and I don’t wish to talk about it! *hides*]

Third, is the Henderson Waves; the biggest pedestrian bridge in Singapore.

This is my favorite spot because of the architecture and yet again, a beautiful place for great shots…..

…..if you have the skills, unlike us. Haha

The bridge is lighted up with LED light at night that is why it is also a favorite spot for groups of friends to hang out.

Can you guess how Jhon take this shot?

Well, end of part one. I promise i will post it up tomorrow night. ;)
