Sawadekaaaa - Day 2 of 4

Click here for Sawadekaaaa - Day 1 of 4

On the 2nd day, wake up call was at 6am and we had delicious breakfast at our hotel, Baiyoke Boutique and began our tour with Mr Victor.

When we entered the van, a Filipino couple was already in there waiting for us. They were young and is married for 2 years, as per information from Jhon. =P

Even though it was a little awkward with Mr Victor when we first met but we found out that he was utterly hilarious and naughty!! he kept making jokes and not to mention the dirty ones too and kept making us laugh. Too bad we didn't take photo of him; totally forgot about it.

Our first itinerary would be a Bangkok City tour while we are on the way to the River City (Chao Praya River) which is at Pattaya.

Soon, we reached the River City. While waiting for our boat, we managed to take a few pictures and saw a DEAD cat solemnly floating down the RIVER!!! Anyways, the ride was interesting. We saw all kinds of houses, buildings and temples; most of which are lined with gold. Saw people taking a swim, a shower and wash their dishes on the same canal.

We also get to feed big fishes near Wak Arun Temple which they believe would bring good luck and we were given leis.

And finally, we alight at Wak Arun Temple. Jhon, Fizah and I were awed by the beautiful temple and were mesmerized by the details. The rest made a bee line to the nearby shops but i told them that we are going ahead to the temple first. One thing about the temple is that its is crazy steep and with high steps! Just one level is tiring but we managed to convinced ourselves to climb to the highest level even though it was crazy steep but its was worth it.

Next was a quick stopover at a small temple with a four faced Buddha.I was curious so the usual 3 of us followed Victor as he prayed and i finally get to take a picture with Thailand version of Ronald MacDonald. hahaha

Before heading for lunch in a restaurant, we had a quick stop at a shop that sells authentic animal skin. No photography was allowed so no photos but they had bags, wallets, belts etc made of Alligator,Stingray, Ostrich, Elephant, Snake skin and they are awesomely cheap!! Will show Jhon's King Stingray wallet later. ;) At this time, another couple from KL joined us at the last minute because of a demonstration brewing in Bangkok.

Victor took us to a little stop over a at GEMS distributor!! They sell nothing but rubies, sapphires, emeralds and all you can think of. I was drooling all over the counter and wished i should have just bought one ring for myself. sighs.. because i thought i may not have enough money for the 3rd day and who would've have thought what i had left over is just nice for a beautiful gem ring that i admired. =(

We then head to Siracha Tiger Zoo. We saw the well known Tiger-Pig family and Tiger-Pig-Dog family. They really look so peaceful with each other and even caught a Tiger using a piglet as a pillow. haha Tigers where not the only animals there; they had Orang Utan, Deers, Lizards, Scorpions, etc.

and yes, we took a photo with a Tiger cub and my mom, sis and BIL even took a photo with a Tiger.

There, we fed baby Tiger cubs and watch a Tiger show. It was great but in just a few minutes into the show, i kinda feel bad for the Tigers because a couple of them are clearly too old for it.

We also caught a Crocodile Show and saw crazily brave man and woman putting their heads in the Crocodile's head, laid down on their body and do stunts with him. Before all that, we can see that the Crocodiles were very aggressive because there were many times they refused to coorperate. One cute girl even had the guts to sit on the Crocodile to take a picture!
Our next stop was an Elephant farm and rode Elephants! Its was really fun and not as unstable as we thought. Infact, our Elephant was kinda cute because we were the 3rd ones to go and some how, the Elephant turbo sped and left everyone way behind. hahaha

Fizah, Sis and I even played stunts with an Elephant which was awesome!

After all the excitement, we watched a Monkey show where it does push ups, sit ups, do hurdles, cycle, jump over ring of fire, etc.

Next was an exhibit of Weird Monsters like Naked Hanging Mice, Owls, Long Necked Turtle, Giant House Lizard, Crocodile with no Tail, Albino Peacocks, "Ugliest" Dog in the world, etc. It was also something that i am interested in so i was rather fascinated.

We then head to a Shooting Range which was within the farm! Only Jhon and my Sis took part and i regretted for not. =( Jhon shot with a rifle while sis shot a .45mm Caliber. All i can say is, stay away when they are holding a gun, they can shoot really well; aiming for the neck and heart.

With all the crazy afternoon, we head for dinner at Amorn Seafood.Victor offered to take us to watch Alcatraz/69 or some Thai "Girls" show but majority of my family didn't want to so we resorted to some light shopping and sight seeing near the restaurant while waiting for the rest to come back.

We walked and walked and came upon Tiffany Show. haha Managed to catch a glimpse of the "ladies" there and they are really pretty with their barbie doll like outfits.

We finally reached and checked in our Pattaya Hotel, Hiso Hotel. At night, it looked kinda dodgy because of the red lights but the hotel is not so bad.

Managed to buy a few stuff and I FINALLY bought something for myself; a bag! i really love it and jhon bought for me a teal tube top dress.Fizah bought herself an orange tube top dress and some really pretty key chains for her family and I absolutely love Jhon's King Stingray wallet. It is so cool!

To be continued....
